We use WordPress because of its popularity, powerful features, scalability, and the fact that it is a free and open source website builder.

  • Some powerful features of WordPress include media management, flexibility and customization, e-commerce capabilities, integration with social media.
  • WordPress can handle your website, whether it’s a simple one-page information site, a blog, or a more complex on-line store with many products.
  • WordPress is a free and open source website builder. This means that you have maximum control over your website. You have full ownership of your website without any third-party control, so it gives you maximum privacy. Though we usually stay within the official code of WordPress, we can, if needed, revise it to suit your needs.

Divi Theme Builder

The first websites we built with WordPress made use of themes created by theme developers, usually designed for a specific type of website.  We began to use themes from Elegant Themes, because we were able to customize their themes and make them useful for more than one type of site.

Elegant Themes then developed Divi, their theme builder tool.  This allows us to create from scratch using their great drag and drop tools, or start with a template which can then be greatly customized.

We transitioned to using Divi exclusively as it offered the most flexibility of any theme or theme builder out there.

And again, due to its popularity and the success of Elegant Themes, we believe it will be fully supported for the life of your website.

Plugins

Plugins are apps installed on your WordPress site that add additional features and functionality to your website such as automatic backups, cookie compliance, Google maps, shopping carts, contact forms, live chat. 

WordPress plugins also make it easy for you to connect & integrate your website with popular business tools, so you can automate and streamline your daily operations.
